These mixed media, life size, sculptures are the beginning of a project I started in Australia six years ago.
Each will make a statement regarding;
Culture
Environment
Politics
Societal
Technological
The two completed are ‘Lord’, (environmental) which depicts Cernunnos, Celtic Lord of the Wildwood, holding a disintegrating earth in his hand, with one of his disappearing creatures in his lap.
The second is ‘Succubus’ a cultural statement regarding the demonization of women in some societies where their beauty and sexuality is suppressed.
The third, yet to be completed, depicts ‘War’, a statement on the wars fought for resources which destroys countries and cultures for greed.
The remaining sculptures will hopefully be completed in 2023.
